Understanding EtG Pharmacokinetics

Most online calculators use simple linear math to guess when you will be "clean." However, biological elimination is complex. EtG (Ethyl Glucuronide) is a direct metabolite of ethanol formed by the liver, but its elimination relies heavily on Kidney Function (GFR).

How this Simulator Works

Instead of giving you a single "yes/no" answer, this tool runs a Monte Carlo Simulation. It simulates your specific scenario 1,000 times using slight variations in metabolic rate (half-life variability).

  • Fast Metabolism (10th Percentile): Represents a best-case scenario where your kidneys are working optimally.
  • Slow Metabolism (90th Percentile): Represents a worst-case scenario (e.g., dehydrated, sleeping metabolism, or lower enzyme activity).

The Dilution Factor

Many people try to "flush" their system with water. While this lowers metabolite concentration per milliliter, drug testing labs check for Creatinine. If your urine is too watery (Creatinine < 20mg/dL), the test is often marked as "Dilute" and considered a fail or requires a re-test.
